A Cape Cod Washashore
I was born in Boston and grew up in Arlington, which makes me a washashore — not born on the Cape, just lucky enough to find it. Thirty-five years ago I arrived, worked in tech, obtained my Massachusetts educator license, taught high school math, got married, established a home, and never left. Yes, a long and winding road. What kept me here was simple: the natural beauty, the sea, the salt air and just as much, the people. There is a genuine care here for the land, the water, and for one another that is rare, and it felt like home in a way no other place ever had.
My real estate career began twenty-five years ago, not as an agent but as a marketing specialist working alongside some of the finest REALTORS® in Chatham, Harwich, and Orleans including John C. Ricotta. I spent years learning the Cape Cod market from the inside, watching how great agents guided people through one of the most important decisions of their lives. I earned my MA real estate license in 2005 and have been helping buyers and sellers on the Lower and Mid Cape ever since.
Cape Cod is a place where the whole world wants to be. There is a unique vibe here when families and friends gather on vacation to get closer to one another and forget the world over the bridge. People spend their entire lives dreaming of living here. When I can help make that dream real, it means something genuine to me. And when someone needs to sell, which is often the most difficult decision, because very few people truly want to leave this place, I understand the weight of that too.
